About Adam J’s Grilled Cheese

Founded by fifth-generation Atlantan Adam Jackson, Adam J’s Grilled Cheese was built from a deep love for the city and a passion for mentorship and entrepreneurship. Adam was determined to not stand on the sidelines while the city was growing and evolving, he wanted to build something that would grow with it.

His mission is simple: to create another treasure for Atlanta to enjoy.

His food journey began during COVID, running a breakfast pop-up with his siblings and mother, Butterly Biscuits. Together, they sold made-from-scratch biscuits at the Grant Park Farmers Market, forming early relationships with Atlanta’s farmers, producers, and neighbors. Those early days shaped a lasting commitment to fresh ingredients, thoughtful sourcing, and genuine community connection.

Adam took his pop-up experience, to start Adam J’s, a gourmet grilled cheese concept that now serves thousands across Atlanta through food truck events, corporate catering, Georgia Tech football games, and soon a restaurant on the Atlanta Beltline.

At Adam J’s, grilled cheese is elevated. We source fresh bread from local bakeries, layer premium cheeses for the perfect melt and pull, and build bold, creative combinations that keep people coming back. From our rich and savory Chicken Parmesan Grilled Cheese to our flavorful Braised Beef Grilled Cheese and other rotating chef-inspired creations, every sandwich is crafted to be indulgent, comforting, and unforgettable.

In Spring 2026, Adam J’s Grilled Cheese will open its first brick-and-mortar location at Pittsburgh Yards along the Atlanta BeltLine’s Southside Trail. This permanent home will anchor the brand while continuing to serve corporate clients and events throughout the city.
