About Adam J’s Grilled Cheese & Gourmet Sandwiches

Founded by fifth-generation Atlantan Adam Jackson, Adam J’s was built from a deep love for Atlanta and a passion for mentorship and entrepreneurship. As the city continues to grow and evolve, Adam was determined not to stand on the sidelines—he wanted to build something that would grow with it.

His mission is simple: to create another treasure for Atlanta to enjoy.

Adam’s food journey began during COVID with Butterly Biscuits, a family-run breakfast pop-up he started alongside his siblings and mother. Together, they served made-from-scratch biscuits at the Grant Park Farmers Market, building relationships with Atlanta’s farmers, producers, and neighbors. Those early days shaped a lasting commitment to fresh ingredients, thoughtful sourcing, and genuine community connection.

That experience led to the creation of Adam J’s, which today serves Atlanta in several ways.

Our Gourmet Sandwich Catering offers freshly prepared sandwich platters and individually packaged box lunches for corporate meetings, offices, schools, celebrations, and large events throughout Metro Atlanta.

Our Grilled Cheese Food Truck brings Adam J’s signature gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches to events across the city, including corporate events, community gatherings, and Georgia Tech football games. We elevate the classic grilled cheese with locally sourced bread, premium cheeses, and bold combinations like our Chicken Parmesan and Braised Beef Grilled Cheese.

And this fall 2026, it all comes together.

Adam J’s will celebrate the grand opening of our brick-and-mortar location at Pittsburgh Yards along the Atlanta BeltLine’s Southside Trail. For the first time, walk-in customers will be able to enjoy the full Adam J’s experience in one place—from our signature gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches to our gourmet deli sandwiches and more.

Family-owned and Atlanta-grown, Adam J’s is committed to quality food, genuine hospitality, and community connection.
