Founded by Adam Jackson, a fifth-generation Atlantan with a passion for mentorship and entrepreneurship, Adam J’s Sandwich Shop is an Atlanta-based sandwich shop and catering company rooted in a deep love for the city and its people. Adam’s mission is simple: to create food experiences that bring people together.

The journey began alongside his siblings with the creation of Butterly Biscuits, a family-run brand built around their made-from-scratch biscuit recipe. Together, they sold biscuits at pop-ups and the Grant Park Farmers Market, forming early connections within Atlanta’s community of farmers, producers, and neighbors. These experiences shaped a lasting commitment to fresh ingredients, and thoughtful sourcing.

What began as a focus on food done well has grown into Adam J’s, serving Atlanta through three distinct offerings: a grilled cheese food truck, corporate catering with boxed lunches and sandwich platters, and a walk-up sandwich shop.

In Spring 2026, Adam J’s will open its first brick-and-mortar sandwich shop at Pittsburgh Yards, located along the Atlanta Beltline’s Southside Trail, part of the Atlanta Beltline, serving his amazing grilled cheese sandwiches to the surrounding Atlanta community. This location will serve as a permanent home for the brand while continuing to support corporate catering and event service throughout the city.
